Thanks for that - worked perfectly......the error message has now gone away......however.....now the next question......

I am distilling the file from both 4.11 and 5.01 versions of Quark. I use the same settings for both files through Acrobat 5.05 and yet one file is 2.7mb and the other 2.2mb.

The larger file is from Quark 4.11 and prints perfectly.

The smaller file from Quark 5.01 has some of the artwork bitmapped. They are specifically fonts which I have turned to paths in an illustrator .eps file.

Do you have any ideas? I would believe it has something to do with the Quark file as all the settings appear to be the same in each print dialogue box....
