We have the same problem. The Reader 6.0 ActiveX control for IE "pdf.ocx" crashes. As a workaround, we advise our customers to either: (1) Revert to Reader 5; or (2) In Reader 6, go to the edit/preferences and in the browser options, deselect View in Browser. This will cause the PDF to launch in the Reader itself, rather than the browser, and avoid the buggy ActiveX control.
