I was bored tonight and decided to write the plugin that I've been
meaning to for a while now...
At is a
plugin for Acrobat 6 Standard or Professional for Windows that will
allow you to embed a SVG document directly into a PDF. Look for the
"SVG" icon in your Advanced Editing toolbar
The SVG is LIVE - all animation, interactivity, video, etc. are fully
functional - anything that the current "experimental" Adobe SVG
Viewer can handle is supported by Acrobat. Documents with the
embedded SVG will work in Acrobat 6 Reader on both Mac OS X and
Windows.
The plugin will let you move & resize your "SVG annnotations".
However, it doesn't (yet) let you delete them - so be careful ;).
All comments, suggestions, etc. are welcome.
If there is enough interest, I'll try to find some time to continue
to improve it incl. bringing it over to Mac OS X.
