Topic: replacing the function AVDocDoSaveAsWithParamsImpl

In a plug-in I wrote, I need to replace AVDocDoSaveAsWithParamsImpl with a simple save, so I could run with no user interface (works excellent).

I've noticed that in Acrobat 5.0, I must give my plug-in a name that comes after digsig.api, otherwise I get an error saying "There was an error while loading the plug-in 'digsig.api'. attempt to replace an unreplaceable selector", and again if the plug-in name is ZZZ.api there is no problem.

In Acrobat 6.0, there is no problem with digsig.api, even if I have a name starts with 'a', but I get a message box that is invoked when loading webpdf.api. in this case changing the name, caused the saveas of webpdf.api to show up so I had to remove webpdf.api.

My question is - Is there more elegant way to solve this problem in both versions? something I can write in my plug-in?

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
