Discussion or help....Acrobat 6 just up and started to freeze on a brand need Dell optiplex running windows XP. They are very few other programs running on this machine and I have run down the list trying to figure things out. This includes trying to run in safe mode, turning off programs one by one using the sys tray and resinstalling the OS.

I even went back to Acrobat 5 - gives me an error that states "could not open WEBPDF.api" and then is not able to actually open any documents

Any similar issues????

I hate to reformat the HD and all I need to do is open PDF's.

Yes I tried just the reader as well...

Help if you can
