Topic: Help with VB and Digital signatures

Ok I have been doing lots of research here and I am still stuck. My goal is to open a .pdf file, insert some SQL data into some fields and then digital sign it with my signature using

I can insert database info into the documents with no problem. I have the javascript to sign a document.

It only seems to work from within Acrobat javascript console. The code is

var ppklite = security.getHandler("Adobe.PPKLite");
ppklite.login("PassWord", "/C/FormsAutomationSample.NET/JasonBryantJones.apf");
var f = app.getField("MySignature");
f.signatureSign(ppklite, {password:"Password"});

Now I know about the security restrictions on not being able to sign a document unless in a batch, console, app init. I have also tried using the Glob.js file but since a docuement is not open it does not know what THIS.field is.

I have seen several code tips and 3rd party tools on verifying a signature and some C++ code for version 6 to run DocSign but not much of VB code on actually signing a PDF.

Is there ANY WAY to sign a .PDF thru VB.NET and if so can some one point me in the proper direction.
