Topic: Automtion error... server threw an exception

Hello everyone,

I have a small problem, which drives me crazy, actually. I'm writing a VB program, that creates a set of bookmarks - as big as 80 - 90 bookmarks' titles; 3-4 levels deep - in PDF file. Well, in many PDF file, actually - usually 60 - 70. When I execute it on a single file, everything is OK. But when I let it iterate through entire directory, it crashes with this "Automation error. The server threw an exception" error message after having had processed just few of them. Debugger often times points to different lines of code as a reason for error. Since the program processes at least some of the files, I believe there's nothing terribly wrong with the code itself. So, I guess this is some "miscommunication" between VB and Acrobat.

Could anyone give me some pointers on that? I'm using VB 6.0 and Acrobat 5.0

Thank you in advance.
