Okay I give ... how do you show the Bookmarks panel in a PDF in which the document properties "initial view" setting "hide window control" is checked ?

"Bookmarks" is greyed out in the menubar.
But "Add Bookmark" is not ??

Please don't tell me I have to change the document settings, save, and then re-open ?

...Or write a JS just for this purpose.
