PDFs with hidden window controls give developers no access to common tools - "tab order", "bookmarks", "page action" etc... Such staples should be also accessible through the menu bar as before, independent of the "document's initial viewing properties"

Also, it was so nice to be able to delete a form field that existed throughout a PDF and have the option to remove all instances or just the one.

and it was also very convenient to be able to change a field from text type to button or any other type - with AA6 - you must recreate the field with all its properties / actions from scratch.

I hope these time savers return one day...
