I've done something I can't seem to undo, which causes the background of any page to be filled with a kind of checkerboard pattern. It's a display problem, because it affects pages created in other copies of Acrobat, and pages created in my copy appear fine in others' screens.

Any ideas what I've done and how to get rid of it?
