Topic: Hacking the Registry... Is It Needed?

Hey all,

I have a quick question. I am trying to convert a Microsoft Document to an Adobe PDF. No problems here. In my MS Word document I have my document description which is over 256 characters. However, when I run the file through the distiller, I end up with a description that has been truncated, well beyond 256 characters. Now, if I go back into the new PDF and paste in my description, I get just under 256 characters, which is fine for me.

Has anyone else ended up with this problem? The platform is XP and everything is up-to-date. Is this a registry hack? Can someone point me in the right direction?

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
