Topic: Watched folders in Acrobat 6 won't work

Hello everyone,
We just upgraded our office to Mac OS X (yay!), and in the process, upgraded to Acrobat 6 Professional.
Everything's working fine, except I can't get the watched folders in Acrobat 6 to work properly. We've tested this on both a Mac OS X server and on desktops, but so far, nothing's worked.
This is what happens:
1. User creates a PostScript file from Quark 6 by printing to the AdobePDF printer.
2. File is dropped into the "In" folder of the watched folder.
3. The PostScript file is moved to the "Out" folder, but no PDF is created. No error messages are reported in Distiller, although the Distilling usually takes one second.
I've read on a couple of different message boards that other people have had this problem, but every possible fix mentioned has not worked. Specifically, I updated the AdobePDF PPD to the latest version, repaired disk permissions and made sure the Mac OS X and Acrobat were updated. I've reset printers, tried printing to a localhost printer (127.0.0.0) and ran a "Print FirstAid" app someone created that allegedly would fix the problem. Nothing has worked.
Interestingly enough, if I drag the PostScript file onto Distiller, it Distills fine.
And just to make sure it wasn't a problem with Quark 6, we tested the watched folders with using Quark 4-generated PostScript files, and that didn't work either.
Any suggestions? I'm at a loss.
Best regards,
John
