What you normally doublie-click etc. in OS X are "packages", which are
essentially directories. You access their contents as follows:
Locate your "Acrobat 6" application and show it in the Finder.
on the Acrobat icon and select Show Package Contents in
the contextual menu. This opens a new Finder window containing a folder
Contents. Open it, then Resources --> en.lproj --> Help, and there you
will have the Help PDF document.
If you want to access quicker in the future, or put it into the
"bookshelf", you create an Alias of it and put it wherever you want, so
that it becomes accessible via standard Open File dialogs.
Hope, this can help.
