Topic: VB6 - Word - Outputfilename - filelocation

Hi all,

I have a VB6 program that converts Word documents to PDF using the PDFWriter printer. Each file has to be saved in a different directory. And this works fine :-)

WordApp.ActivePrinter = "Acrobat PDFWriter"
WordApp.Application.PrintOut FileName:="", _
Range:=wdPrintAllDocument, _
Item:=wdPrintDocumentContent, _
Copies:=1, _
Pages:="", _
PageType:=wdPrintAllPages, _
Collate:=True, _
Background:=True, _
outputfilename:=SaveLocation & PDFFileName

Now the problem : when pc's at our site run the program, PDF's are generated in the right location. When pc's at another company site run it, it stores the pdf-files in a strange location, like windows\system32 or adobe\pdfoutput.

Does anybody have any idea about the cause of this problem?

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
