Topic: Page numbering using Postscript in prologue.ps

Hi Guys, we are trying to include some code on the prologue.ps, just to add page numbering on some PDF documents.
After reading the PFRmark document, a basic postscript guide and giving a look to the PRLM, we finally wrote a code that we thought could work.
Unfortunately does not.
Could any expert out there give us an advice, or just post a code to get a page numbering (in the way Page # of Total_pages) for prologue.ps?

Our current code is:

%(Processing prologue.ps...\n) print flush

/NumPag 10 def
/NumPag NumPag 1 add def

<< /BeginPage
{ 100 400 moveto
/Arial 10 selectfont
(Page Number: ) /NumPag show }
>> setpagedevice

Thanks in advance
