I am very new to java script. I have a form which has 6 fields that have to be filled in before the user can email the form. I did use java in the "on blur" mouse action that gives the user a message when they leave a field without filling it in, but I also need an error message to come up when they click on the "email" button that tells them they left a required field(s) blank.
I did buy the JavaScript Bible but I am not proficient enough yet to know how to write the java script needed in my email button to cause the alert to come up when they email the form.
Could anyone out there tell me what I need to put in my email button to alert the user that not all of the fields are filled in, bearing in mind that I am not a java guru?
I appreciate your help and am forever grateful!!
Thank you,
