The easiest way I use to embed fonts which are not embedded in a PDF without having to purchase expensive additional software, is to activate the missing fonts on your workstation (if you have the fonts that is) and just print the PDF to a postscript file and simply redistill the PS, voila. All fonts embedded, and you saved 600+ bux by not buying PitStop. :)
