I will be selling a DVD with PDFs on it. I want to let owners of the DVD download versions of these PDFs (from my website) as I release them. I also want to control access to the updated PDFs so that they only open if you already own the DVD (eg check for a file on the DVD when accessing the updated PDF?). I don't want to use a password. I want the PDFs to open (if they own the DVD) even in they don't have Internet access.
I could set up a registration/access control system for downloading the updated PDFs - but that has another set of problems.

Are there any ready made PDF solutions pt recommendations? I use Acrobat 6 Pro.

thanks

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
