Help!!!

I've gotten completely frustrated by the criss-cross dependency-ridden set of samples that Adobe provides for using the PDF v6 Library on Windows.

Does ANYONE have a simple starter Visual Studio .Net project they can mail me with the files it uses a zip file?

I'm not looking for much, but I've been trying to take and build such an starter (based on the addelem.c example) without any luck. Not that I completely blame Adobe, Microsoft is probably the root cause for having created this monstrosity known as Visual Studio .Net. Unfortunately, I'm forced to do this on Windows. This has to be for Windows 2000 Adv Svr, and therefore needs to be in C/C++. This is just a console application, so I'm not looking for anything at all complicated.

Any help would be much appreciated. I've tried adding in projects to the Adobe sample (but it won't keep anything I add). I've tried creating a new console project, but it can't find one thing after another that I'm sure there's a place to set (6 levels deep in some sub-sub-sub menu).

All I want to do is open a PDF, count the pages, and then close (maybe save to a new name) a PDF file with the PDF libraries. Is that too much too ask? I'll elaborate on that later into what I really need, but I need something reasonable as a starter.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
