Grettings PDF Friends,
I'm interested in your product recommendation(s) based on the requirements below.
1. Within a web portal, allow users to save the current page being viewed as a PDF and save it in a their personal "archive" folder. A "save this page as archive" link would appear on every page in the portal. They don't need to see the PDF right after creation, but just know that it is saved to a directory and I'll add the filename to a database.
2. I'll display a list of the user's archived PDFs in an asp.net page and they can click and view.
3. I need to be able to control the filenames of the PDF files created and saved (i.e. based on the username and timestamp).
I won't be able to manually format and configure each page for PDF conversion. Every page will be different, so I need something that can take a true web page snapshot. Cost is important, but so is the time savings a good commercial product can provide. I've read much of the research provided by Planet PDF and Seybold, but nothing beats the "been their done" that feedback.
Thanks for your time,
