Topic: FILLING OUT FORMS AND SAVING

Big problem due to ignorance!! Have spent several weeks meticulously putting fields into our college application (56 pages). Includes essays, etc. We were planning to put onto cds and mail them to potential applicants. But they can't save it with Adobe Reader. Adobe can't help me really for under $7,500. (my car costs less than that). I saw a reference to Ovis  FormServer. I can't quite figure out what this does.

Will it allow us to have a document on the cd that we can mail and that others can fill out and save to their home computer while they are filling out the form (i.e. retain what they have entered in the fields not just save the form)?

We are really desperate. I am most grateful (as always) for any help you can give me.
