Hello all,
I have an XP Pro PC with Reader 6.0 installed on it. Whenever I either a) open a PDF or b) load Reader itself, Reader will just hang. I get the splash screen, but the status line at the bottom doesn't indicate that the DLL's and plugins are being loaded. I just get an hourglass. If I go to Task Manager, it just says, 'FONT CAPTURE (not responding)'. Completely un/reinstalling the app didn't work. I am vexed as I haven't added any new software to this PC and it just stopped working a few days ago. Am I just a victim of the dreaded Windows Bit Rot(tm)?
