Topic: PDAnnotSetColor(...) icon & rectangle color (Via Email)

Hi all,

I'm using PDAnnotSetColor (annot, & sColorVal) function to set text
annotation color. When I do this with currently opened document everything
works fine and the color of both icon and text rectangle are set. But when I
try to do this not in AV Layer but PD layer only (without displaying pdf),
the color of text rectangle is changed, but not icon color. In CoreAPIRef is

Color is set this way:
. Closed text note-the icon background color
. Open, unselected text note-bounding rectangle color
. Open, selected text note-color of annotation's title bar

I've tried to close the annot and the reopen, but with no success...

How must I handle the annot if I want to change both icon and text

BTW> manualy it's not possible to set different color for icon and text

Thanks for any help

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
