Topic: TouchUp Text does not work properly

Hello-I recently had Acrobat 6 Pro loaded onto my Windows 2000 system. It seems that some of the tools don't work the way they used to.

I tried to change a single page number in my document. Instead of just selecting the page number when I use the TouchUp Text tool, it puts a selection rectangle around the entire page. I can then select the page number, but when I type in a replacement, the entire page of text is deleted. Acrobat 5 never behaved this way. When I selected text, it would only select the text I indicated, not the entire page. How can I fix this problem?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Elizabeth K.
