Topic: Quark 6.0 quits when importing PDFs

I work in a shop with 5 copies of Quark 6.0. Of late, one acts up by quitting whenever a PDF is imported into a picture box within a document. Any PDF into any document.

Ironically, I can import PDFs into Quark files on the other 4 computers, send the files with links to the imported PDFs to the person with the bad copy of Quark, who then opens it, restablishes links, and copies and pastes the the pictures linked to the PDFs into whatever document they want. Prints okay, too.

Can anyone tell me what may be happening here? Something is happening during the placment operation, but I can't guess what it is.

I've trashed the prefs and reloaded the extensions from the healthy siblings, but no luck.
