Hmmm... You should advise people to go for the most appropriate
approach for their security/safety needs. It might be using
certificates, it might be the built-in security, it might be
third-party DRM systems. It all depends.
That Windows Certificate Security is an additional option for
certificate-based security. You just have to be aware that it would be
limited to one single platform, and not really ready for the general
public. But again, it will depend on your users. But the principle of
the "Default Certificate Security" and the "Windows Certificate
Security" is exactly the same. You are using a public key (via
certificate) to encrypt, and it would be the private key which is
needed to decrypt. It is simply a different organization which hands
out the keys.
