Topic: Logos driving me to the brink of insanity

Hi,

can anyone help me before I go totally bonkers.

I'm currently creating a digital signature plugin. I want to replace the adobe logo thing that's stuck on a pdf when it's signed with a company logo.

This should just be a case of replacing the following code with a different image stream i.e.

static char *stmValidLogoStr =
"q \
0 J 0 j 4 M []0 d \
1 0 0 1 0 -1 cm \
1 0.85 0.85 rg \ etc........
53.5 34.6 40.1 31.1 28.1 25.9 c \
h f Q";

The trouble is that I'm drawing a logo, saving it in .eps format. Opening it in Illustrator and saving it as a pdf. I find the stream describing the images and it's in this format:

"/Layer /MC0 BDC
1 0 0 -1 0 0 cm
0 0 0 1 K
0 i 0.216 w 2.6131 M 0 j 0 J []0 d
/GS0 gs
478.08398 -397.94678 m
478.08398 -397.94678 364.09424 -196.39844 364.09424 -196.39844 c
S
EMC"

Which doesn't work. Can anyone describe to me a step by step way of getting a logo stream into the correct format.

I would really appreciate any help I can get with this. Thanks in advance.

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
