Help dear pdf experts:

I usually print to film w/ acrobat 4 reader, but lately have started using
acrobat 5.
unfortunately this is causing many problems.

1. fonts are jagged. ( I have gone thru and troubleshooted the printing
procedure and all the places that say download all fonts and include all
fonts etc have been checked.)
2. all black areas are screened - like about 90%

I am always getting pdfs that are in 2 color and they will only print w/
screens in the images.
but even the black images are screened. Is there something I could learn
about printing from a pdf
and getting smoother fonts and unscreeened images?

o pleasse help
do you recommmend any good training books or manuals about how to tell your
customer to save
pdf files and/or how to print them to film?
