We have a scanner that saves scanned documents as a "non indexed" PDF file. I want to automate the indexing process by using Acrobat in a "Watch Folder" mode (as Acrobat Distiller) or by starting "Document | Paper Capture" from command line (Then I will develop a small utility that watch the folder and start Acrobat with parameter telling Acrobat to perform "Document | Paper Capture" on the opened document)
Questions:
1: Do you know if the command "Document | Paper Capture" can be activated by command line parameters?
2: Is it possible to develop an addin to Acrobat that can:
a: Open a document (from command line or by opening launching the document)
b: Perform "Paper Capture"
c: Save the document
d: Exit Acrobat
3: Do you know if it is possible to use the Batch Processing command to do
that? (As I understand it is only possible to use "Batch command" from Acrobat on already opened files).
4: Do you know another solution for automating the indexing process? (I know OminPage can index PDF file, but I have not found information indicating that it is possible to do it from "command line").
If you know how to solve this, please let me know. If you are a programmer and can develop the program, I will pay for the development"
Thanks in advance.
