We send files to a (the biggest in US) large printer that uses prinergy for the prep/CTP. They cannot use our exported ID3 pdf files on account of the CID fonts. Its only been 9 years since adobe released the spec, yet the printer blames adobe somehow.

Is there a prinergy revision that handles CID fonts? If not are they only driven by adobe rips and is adobe holding back? It makes little sense so I don't know if I trust what the printer is saying.
