I'm newbie in the block.

A paper I wrote with MSWORD-2002 was accepted by some conference. They asked me to convert the document to PDF.
Their requiremtnets regarded the document split to two parts:
(1) PDF Production
(2) Disttiler Settings
Here is a part of PDF Production req:
1. Type 1 vs. bitmapped fonts. Authors should be asked to substitute Adobe Postscript
Type 1 fonts for any bitmap fonts (e.g., Postscript Type 3 bitmapped fonts, PCL fonts,

Here is a part of Disttiler Settings req:
To achieve the best display, downloading, and printing results, files
must be compressed by Acrobat Distiller and the fonts used in the document must be
embedded in the PDFs by Distiller. The following example parameter file shows the
correct Distiller settings to achieve the desired results. If you are unfamiliar with
changing Distiller settings, please see the Distiller Online Guide.
compatlevel 3.0 asciipdf off
pagesize 612 792 pts
resolution 300 dpi
compresstext on

My question is which software do I need to use for (1) and which for (2). And does it makes a difference which MSWORD version I wrote with the document?

Thank you!

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment
