I had one user of a CD we created report that McAfee (McAfee VirusScan 4.5.0, with virus definition 4.0.4350 (8th April 2004) scan engine 4.2.60.) found a virus inside the Adobe Reader 6 distribution executable. We check all of our CDs with Norton (latest definitions) before they leave for replication. McAfee did not report the name of the virus. Should I assume this is just a false alarm?
