Topic: Distiller won't change options

I am having all kinds of problems with distiller its working on the screen resolution option. when I change the option to high quality or press the file is distilled as a screen resolution file I have made various bespoke options using no compression and no down sampling but the file produced is always the same .

I am using Quark to make the ps files and the options in the print dialog fields seem correct I use the higher resolution 2400 and in the printer specifications there are no other options I can specify apart from font embedding and postscript options.

I have trashed the Distillers preferences to no effect. I have exactly the same set up on another machine and I am having no problems at all So I don't think it can be a procedural thing.

Has any one come across this problem and have you a fix for it
