Topic: selecting printer paper

Hi, I have php scripts that create pdf files that must be printed automatically (with javascript) on 2 different printers with different paper sizes depending on the script.

Each printer has its own default format. One is a standard letter size 8 1/2" x 11" on a laser printer. The second printer is an old dotmatrix printer with a special format as default.

My problem is this. When I use the getPrintParams object, the default paper format is always letter and never the default paper format for the printer. I've tried using suppress-rotate and automatically select paper format by pdf size. But all they seem to do is print my document sideways.

Is there a way to specify the paper format?
something like pp.paperSize = letter ?

thank you for you help
