Topic: Merging XML, Word, Excel into one PDF

Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum, so please excuse my ignorance if there is already another post that describes this.

What I'm looking for is a way to convert a XML document to pdf and be able to merge multiple word, excel, jpeg, bmp, and other formats into the pdf. The word, excel... documents need to be able to merge in the middle of the pdf document, not to the bottom.

I could use FOP to convert my xml to pdf, but then is there a way to add the other documents later into the midst of the pdf? Or I could step through the xml and create the equivelant paragraph/table/... in pdf and when a word document needs to be inserted, add it there instead of after the pdf is created.

I will need to be able to do this programmatically through vb6.

Is there a third party tool that can help me?

Thanks for all the help,

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
