Topic: How to link PDF files for CD-rom?

I have 1 big PDF file that links to several smaller PDF files. When I set up the links (from the main PDF to the other PDF files) I noticed the full local path was displayed.
(e.g. C:\myProjects\pdfcdrom\docs\a001.pdf)

On my loval drive I have a directory called "pdfcdrom" which holds the main PDF and a subdirectory "docs" which contains several PDF files. A relative link would be "docs/a001.pdf".

When I burn everything on CD-rom what will Acrobat do? Will it use relative links or absolute links (in which case the links wouldn't work on the cd-rom!!!)

Does anyone have experience with this or knows how I could use relative links? (some links will be generated when I convert my HTML TOC into PDF, other links will probably have to be created within Acrobat)

A big thanks allready!

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
