Topic: (batch) convert web links to document links?

Hi,

I have a huge generated HTML file that needs to be converted to PDF. The HTML anchors and anchor links are no problem as they seem to work correctly in PDF.

The real problem are the links (+2000!!) to other PDF files OR to named destinations in another big PDF file. Even when the HTML code has only relative links, Acrobat converts them as "web links", NOT as document links (which is what I need).
Does anyone know a tool to convert web links in Acrobat to document links (and if possible to also specify whether the linked PDF should open in a new window or not?)

The goal is to have all files organised on a hard drive and to burn a CD-rom from it while preserving all document links correctly.

A big thanks allready!

PS. I checked ArtsPDFLinker which is really cool for batch find&replacing link paths but unfortunately I couldn't batch convert weblinks to document links with it.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
