I'm sorry if this is an old issue, I've checked messages out to #240 and don't find the issue addressed.
I am creating PDFs using aspPDF from Persits software, I think this is a very good tool, but the biggest reason for using it is that my client already uses it in other applications, so it is what they are comfortable with and I don't have much of a choice. (I did prototypes in sedQuickPDF and ActivePDF, but the client rejected them based on unfamiliarity with those tools).
The documents (Invoices) that I'm creating are replicating a process that is in place at my client's client. That process does not save PDF files (but does stream them), so I am accessing the SQL Server back end and converting a BLOB field (converted AS/400 Spool file) to variables and building out the PDF. My problem is that the files are about 550K for a 1 pager. I saw something in a discussion about the Acrobat SDK and deflate(), is it possible for me to create the PDF and attach to it after creation and compress the file? I have a couple images in the doc that draw as the page is loading and this does not happen on other PDFs I've seen with graphics.
Thanks in advance.
