Topic: Dynamicly generated pdf's not opening in MSIE

Hey All,

I'm a newbie to this forum, so please direct me to the correct forum if this question is inappropriate here.

I have a web application (based on apache mod_perl) that generates pdfs from a large database based on user criteria ala Crytsal Reports. I get random reports from mostly MSIE users (6.0) and occassionally Mozilla based browsers that the Acrobat plugin will not display the resulting documents. Upgrading browser or acrobat reader does not seem to correct the problems.

I am including all relevant headers (mime-type, content-size) but still get randomw reports. Most users seem to experince difficulty when there is a query string on the url (i.e. my.pdf?foo=bar). Finally, if I generate then email to a user, its fine. Or if the user right clicks on the resourse and saves to disk all is well.

Any ideas? Thanks!!
