Topic: removing filename from bottom of page

I am using Acrobat 6 to create PDF files of various text and html documents I have created. But on all the pages the name of the file and the time it was created appear, sort of in the following format:
file:///D:/Documents/filename(1 of 4)/date time. This appears on the bottom of every page. Is there a way of removing it?
