Warning - Newbie alert !!
I have an Access database which produces 2 reports saved as pdf files and then combined into one published pdf file
Report 1 is an list of product pictures and their code number
Report 2 contains details of the prices for different sizes of each product. At the top of each section in the detailed list, the appropriate picture (gifs) and code number corresponding to the cover report are shown and below this is a table showing the various prices for that product.
I want to be able to click on the picture in section 1 and have it take me to the equivalent section in the detailed prices report.
I know I can do this manually through linking but the final product will be subject to numerous reproduction as prices change and will end up being 2-3000 pages in total
Given I know the product code and picture name, is there a way I can program this info in Access so that every time I redo the pdf's, the link is automatically created.
I think (but heed newbie warning) that I just need to know the exact code for the link start (probably have jargon wrong here) and destination address and I could then place these in Access
Thanks in Advance
Steve
