Hi !
We want to use the security option "Encrypt for certain identity using certificate" on a pool of PDF document with ACROBAT V6. Using this option will allow the related documents to be readable only by people having the right certificates installed on their PCs.
Fo this, we have setted up a PDF batch wich apply a certificate on all the documents choosen. Unfortunatly, some PDF documents in this pool are not able to receive this certificate (because they are already protected or other cases) and when this batch is running, we hav'nt any feedback or log file about the status of this operation and the batch stop on the first document with problem. As we have a lot of documents to convert (several thousand), we are looking for an enhanced method or tool which will allow a more accurate management for this operation.
Does somebody have experience on batch process for certificates ?
