I would suggest your reformat your submit URL and remove the
field reference. Could be an issue or not it but it would bring the
submittal
into compliance with the Acrobat documentation.

Then go from there if there continues to be problems

var aSubmitFields = new Array( "PIR_NO", );

this.submitForm({
cURL: "http://XXXXX/DigSig/SubmitXML.aspx",
aFields: aSubmitFields,
cSubmitAs: "XML"
});
