Topic: I can't open pdf files using Adobe Reader

I cannot open pdf files. I have downloaded Adobe Reader vs: 6.0. When I try to open a pdf file I get the following message:

Faulting application acrord32.exe, version 6.0.1.1091, faulting module acrord32.exe, version 6.0.1.1091, fault address 0x000264e5.

I have also tried using Adobe Reader vs's 5 and 4. When I try to open a pdf file using these versions I receive a message that says, "A temporary file cannot be located".

Any help will be appreciated.
