Topic: display last two digits of year

I'm just a beginner with JavaScript, but know enough to go to the developers to get fast reliable answers. Here's my problem...

I have a field "SchlYr" that I only want to display the last two digits of the year based on the calculation below.

If the month (of todays date) is less than July (07) the the digits to be displayed would be those of the current year.

If the month (of todays date) is greater than June (06) then the digits to be displayed would be the last two of the coming (next) year.

I've been able to find and modify scripts to fit my other calculations for the forms I'm working on. But just can't seem to figure this one out.

Thanks for helping...
