Hi, I am running the latest version of Acrobat Distiller on a PowerMac
G5 with OS 10.3. I have been creating pressready postscript files from
Quark 6 for quite a while. Gradually, over time Distiller has been less
and less likely to distill the files. At first, I was able to distill every time,
then every other time, every third or fourth time, etc. Now I can't get
it to distill at all. I have tried restarting, running with all apps off,
including Suitcase. I have dumped preferences files, and even
reinstalled Acrobat... All to no avail. Is there some sort of known
conflict? Some kind of patch that I need? Any thoughts?

In the mean time, I am trying to create pressready PDFs via Quark's
"Export" capability... this against the advise of several prepress guys.
Can you recommend a good quality PDF setting for high end 4color
press?
