Hi,

I'm new to this forum so maybe my problem has already an answer somewhere or this is not the right section to ask this...

What i want to do:
place over a text code a PDF field.

i have a text-code like this somewhere in the PDF file:
[textField;txtField1]

what i have done:
searched the document using 'getPageNthWord' function and retrieved the position of the first word from my text code, then placed over it a text field. the function that i've used works only for simple words and not for my entire expression.

the problem is that i want to process the whole text code in a single step, using the second word from the text code for defining the field name and placing the field over the entire expression.

i can achieve this by searching for the first word from my text code and then get the position for it and for the next word (that will be always the field name) and place my field using the coordinates of both words, i dunno if this will work ok if the text code is splited on 2 lines.

another question that i have: i wonder if Adobe PDF allows to replace a text with other text.

so, am i on the right track? can it be improved?
or maybe there is another solution for this.

any ideas or help is welcome
thank you

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
