Topic: Printing multiple PDF-files with Acrobat Reader 6

if i select multiple PDF-documents in MS Windows-explorer (for example: 20 PDF-files) and print them using the context-menu (right click + print), then not all PDF-documents will be printed.

The acrobat reader starts and sometimes 10, sometimes 12 or more PDF-Files will be printed, but mostly never all of them. And there is no error message shown.

The same problem occurs, if i try to print several PDF-files from within an VisualBasic6-Application using the ShellExecute-command (with 'printto'-action). There are always missing some printouts.

I can reconstruct this problem on several computers (WinXP, Acrobat Reader 6.0.2).
If i use Acrobat Reader 5 this problem does not exist and everything works fine.

I have already checked, if i could use DDE to control Acrobat Reader:
The DDE-message FilePrintToEx has the disadvantage of showing a print-dialog.
The DDE-message FilePrintSilent don't shows a dialog, but prints only to the default printer.
And a DDE-message FilePrintToSilentEx, that prints to a specified printer without showing a dialog does not exist. But that is exactly what i need.

Does anyone know this problem ? Any ideas how to avoid this problem ?
