Topic: Can Adobe do this

I am considering buying Adobe 6.0 STD to convert a Word file, Excel File and MS Power point file into three PDF files. I then wish to merge them and inject pages from the MS Word (now PDF) and MS Power Point (now PDF) into the very large Excel (now PDF) document. The end result will be a research
book that contains stories from the Word file, Photos from the Power point file and lots of data that looks like an Excel format. I then wish to give the large single Adobe PDF file to a publisher who can print the book from it.

Does this sound like something Adobe Acrobat 6.0 can do? I am trying to do this on a shoe string as several of us volunteers have been preparing the data and will give the published book to a non-profit museum as a means of raising funds.

Please let me know as I need someone with much knowledge to tell me if I'm going to use the right tool. If not, what is the right tool on a limited budget? Thanks, Duane
