Topic: app.setInterval is making my files huge!

I'm using app.setInterval in one document as a clock in a text field and in another to make periodic calls to a database to update a number in a text field.

Both documents are getting ginormous! If I open one of them and immediately click "Save" it increases the file size.

I have narrowed down the problem to app.setInterval. I have tried resetting/clearing the text fields prior to updating the number displayed in them and am not really sure how to solve this problem.

Has anyone else ever had an issue like this? Does anyone know how to fix it?

Thanks!
Sande
